DAS has been established in November 1979 with an intention of mobilizing, educating, organizing through liberation to secure their socio- economical and political rights by the initiation of educated Dalit youth of Andhra Pradesh area with an intension and desire of giving voice to the voiceless datits who do not have any means of living Oppression, harassment, Caste discrimination, inequalities are always their common hazards.

You may be well aware that Indian Caste system always kinder the interests and development of the poor and allow the upper caste people to easily oppress the lower caste people. Hence they are always obliged to be like the slaves and be in the clutches of the Rich.Though the dalits are 15% of the total population of the country, they are still treated as untouchables and considered as most vulnerable section of our society.
